  • Totally vegetarian
  • Perfect for lunch, dinner, or snack time

🍽️ Nutrition Tip

This sandwich features paneer, which is rich in protein — about 14g per 100g — making it an excellent vegetarian option to meet daily needs. Adults need roughly 46–56g of protein per day.

Plus, adding vegetables and serving it on whole grain bread boosts fiber content. Women should aim for 21–25g of fiber daily, and men 30–38g. This sandwich can contribute 4–6g of fiber, depending on the bread used.

🥪 Variations to Try

Make it your own with these easy twists:

  • Grilled veggie paneer sandwich – Add mushrooms, zucchini, or spinach.
  • Paneer tikka melt – Add a slice of mozzarella or cheddar for an extra cheesy bite.
  • Paneer avocado toastie – Add mashed avocado for creaminess and healthy fats.
  • Spicy chipotle paneer sandwich – Swap tikka masala for smoky chipotle sauce.

🍞 Healthy Bread Options

Choose breads that increase the nutrition profile:

  • Whole wheat or multigrain bread – high in fiber and B vitamins
  • Sourdough – easier on digestion and gut-friendly
  • Ezekiel or sprouted bread – high in protein and minimally processed
  • Low-carb or protein bread – for blood sugar-friendly meals

👩‍🍳 Easy Enough to Be a Habit

This recipe uses everyday ingredients and comes together quickly:

  • Pre-make the marinated paneer and store it in the fridge
