Happy Tea-uesday guys! Bubble tea is my kinda tea, so why not add my kinda flavors? Made this strawberry rambutan bubble tea in no time yesterday. Try this easy recipe and let me know how it turns out.
Bubble tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink. The typical recipe contains tea, milk or water, flavors, sugar (optional) and toppings. One of the traditional toppings is tapioca balls (also known as pearls or boba). Nowadays Boba comes as popping boba as well. The popping boba is soft outside and blasts flavor as soon as it goes in your mouth. You can also add fruit jelly, grass jelly, agar jelly or pudding as your topping for bubble tea.
Typically, bubble tea is a cold drink and can be enjoyed by adding ice cubes, or as an ice-blended drink. There are many varieties of this drink, but one of the most popular ones is taro pearl milk tea. Thai pearl milk tea is my favorite.
